The Italian Table (e-book)

$10.00

It was in Italy that I first began taking cooking lessons abroad, back in 2009. I met a woman named Diane Seed who welcomed me into her Rome apartment and spent the entire day teaching me the rhythms of Italian cooking—simple ingredients, thoughtful technique, and the joy of feeding others. That day made a huge impact on me.

Since then, I’ve traveled all around Italy, making lifelong friends who have generously shared their hospitality, their kitchens, and their traditions. I’ve returned nearly 40 times over the years, and each visit deepens my love for the country.

There’s a beautiful Italian saying: “A tavola non si invecchia”—At the table, one does not grow old. I’ve found this to be true time and again, sitting around tables from Puglia to Sicily, lingering over long lunches, laughing with friends, and savoring every bite. The Italian table welcomes you as you are and leaves you a little better for having been there.

In this e-book, I’ve gathered a few of my favorite Italian recipes—dishes that remind me of meals shared, lessons learned, and the flavors that have shaped my life in the kitchen. I hope they’ll bring a bit of Italy into yours.

Included Recipes: Basil Pesto, Breadsticks, Chicken Cutlet Panini, Chocolate Negroni, Flourless Chocolate Torte, Leek & Porcini Risotto, Meatballs in Vodka Sauce, Rigatoni with Artichoke Ragu, Sicilian Stuffed Pizzas, Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca, Suppli Al Telefono, Tuscan Bean Soup
