The name “tagine” is not only given to the clay vessel with a conical lid, but also to the food inside. These ceramic tagines are handmade in Fez, Morocco by local artisans and are meant to be used as a serving dish, not to be put over fire. They make a gorgeous centerpiece on the dinner table, filled with salads, sauces, rice, or stews. They also make a perfect hostess gift.
