Indian Chai Teapots

$85.00

When I was in India, one of my favorite experiences was seeing the process of making masala chai. In Rajasthan I watched a chai-walla (person who prepares chai) simmer tea, spices, and milk in a pan until it became the perfect creamy consistency. Then it was poured into a brass chai pot and served with a clay cup. The brass pot should not go on the stovetop but used simply as a serving vessel. It also makes a beautiful art piece to display. When you purchase one, you’ll also receive Shannon’s recipe for masala chai and a sample of her spices brought back from India.

Not for use on stovetop. Hand wash only. Size is for a one-cup serving of chai.
