Handmade Vintage Murano Glass Earrings
On one of her many visits to the island of Murano, Italy, Shannon discovered a small shop with a “secret drawer” filled with vintage blown glass beads. The shopkeeper shared that the beads had once been featured in a museum publication and were hand-blown by a master glassmaker in the 1940s.
Without hesitation, she brought them home and designed these earrings, pairing the luminous Murano glass with Arizona turquoise and gold-filled accents. Rare and storied, they carry a bit of Italian history and are meant to be worn (and treasured) with pride.
Width: 1” each earring

For over 20 years, I’ve collected beads and stones from around the world, found in hidden bead shops, markets, antique stores, and gem shows. Each piece carries a story, and in my home beading studio, I bring those stories to life.
