Chamba Colombian Ceramic Bowls
These unique ceramic bowls are made in Chamba, Colombia from the volcanic clay and sand. The bowls are formed and dried in the sun, then polished with an agate stone. I found them in an artisan shop in Medellín, Colombia, and I think they're perfect for holding salts or spices. Each bowl has a lid and hand-formed ceramic spoon to match. They should be hand-washed with mild soap.
Each bowl measures 2" tall and 4" across and holds about 5 ounces of salt.
